Money machine! Real Madrid’s iconic kit hits a staggering €300m valuation
Real Madrid are close to renewing their partnership with Emirates as the club aims to reach €300 million in yearly shirt revenue.
Real Madrid strengthen global commercial strategy
Real Madrid are close to completing a new sponsorship agreement with Emirates according to Spanish outlet AS.
The renewal forms part of a broader commercial strategy designed to keep the club at the top of world football’s financial rankings.
Emirates has been the main shirt sponsor of Real Madrid since 2013 and the partnership is now expected to continue until 2031. The current deal already generates around €70-80 million per season but the new agreement could increase that figure to nearly €100 million annually.
The airline’s partnership has played a key role in strengthening Real Madrid’s global presence and helping maintain the club’s economic stability over the past decade.
Three key partners behind the revenue plan
Real Madrid’s long-term commercial strategy is built around three major partners:
- Emirates
- Adidas
- HP
Adidas remains the club’s official kit supplier in a contract currently worth around €120 million per year, one of the most valuable equipment deals in football.
Negotiations are already underway to extend this agreement when the current deal expires in the coming years.
Meanwhile HP acts as the sleeve sponsor and technology partner completing the trio of brands that support Real Madrid’s global commercial growth.
Aiming for a new financial benchmark
Real Madrid are targeting €300 million per season in revenue from their jersey alone, a figure that would set a new global benchmark in football.
The club’s shirt is already considered the most valuable in the sport, with current sponsorship value estimated at around €260 million annually.
This places Real Madrid ahead of other major clubs such as Manchester United & Barcelona highlighting the strength of the club’s global brand.
A long partnership
Real Madrid’s relationship with Emirates began even earlier than the main sponsorship deal. The airline first partnered with the club in 2011 before becoming the primary shirt sponsor two year later.
The expected renewal confirms the strong relationship between both sides.
