Real Madrid receive €15 million for rising academy star – report

The offer is said to have come from Premier League side Sunderland, who are eager to bring the young midfielder to England.

Pitarch has emerged as one of the standout performers within Real Madrid’s youth academy this season.

Much of the midfielder’s progress has come under Alvaro Arbeloa, who has played a key role in nurturing the youngster’s growth.

As a result, his development has caught the attention of several scouts across Europe, with Sunderland now making the first concrete move.

Sunderland are quite serious

The outlet mentions that the English club views Pitarch as a long-term investment and believes he could become an important piece of their future sporting project.

Sunderland officials have been following the player’s progress for several weeks before deciding to formalise their interest with an official offer.

The proposed fee of €15 million shows just how highly the Premier League side rates the young midfielder, particularly considering that he is still in the early stages of his professional career.

Despite the strong offer, Real Madrid understandably appear reluctant to part ways with the teenager.

This is because there is significant confidence in Pitarch’s potential and the role he could play in the future, as the midfielder has considerable room to grow.

While the transfer market can often move quickly, especially when young talents begin attracting international attention, Real Madrid currently view Pitarch as a player worth keeping.

For now, it appears unlikely that the club will seriously consider Sunderland’s proposal, as they remain convinced that the youngster’s development could eventually lead him toward a role within the first team.
