The discourses focused on Sitarama Kalyanam and Bhakti Purusharthamulu, and were widely appreciated for their depth, simplicity and spiritual insight. Attendees said the teachings, delivered in accessible language, conveyed profound philosophical ideas along with practical guidance for life.
Organisers said the sessions enhanced spiritual awareness among participants and left a lasting impression on the audience.
The event was organised by FTAM Chairman PV Ramana, President Ganji Jagan Babu, and Secretary of Spiritual Programmes SVR Murthy, along with Ashok Kanthe and other members.
State Bank of India and Central Bank of India were the main sponsors of the event. Other contributors included RCF, LIC, Nagarjuna Construction Company, BPCL and Karur Vysya Bank.
Participants described the two-day programme as a spiritual festival for the Telugu community in Mumbai, noting that the Guru’s teachings offered valuable guidance on following the path of Dharma.
FTAM highlighted several of its recent initiatives. The Maharashtra Rajya Telugu Academy was launched in 2025, and a Telugu department has been established at the University of Mumbai. Efforts are under way to secure land for a Telugu literary centre.
The organisation has also acquired land for the Anandanalayam old age home, with necessary permissions in place, and operates the Brindavanam Punganur cow centre, which has been running for the past two years.
FTAM leaders said the community’s collective efforts have demonstrated that significant progress can be achieved through unity, and reaffirmed their commitment to promoting Telugu and Marathi literature and cultural development.
