A 4-3 victory in Sunday's decisive Game 3 gave Alabama (29-2 overall, 7-2 conference) three straight series wins to open SEC play after the Crimson Tide previously swept Ole Miss in Oxford before taking two of three against a top-10 Arkansas Razorbacks squad in Tuscaloosa.

Alabama overcame a 2-0 deficit on Sunday when Ambrey Taylor launched a three-run homer in the fourth inning. It was Taylor's fifth this season. Ana Roman added a solo shot in the fifth, and starting pitcher Jocelyn Briski closed the door in the seventh to improve to 12-0 in the circle.

Briski held Missouri to three runs and four hits in seven innings, striking out six and walking three in his seventh complete game of the season. She lowered her ERA to 1.35 in 13 appearances.

Alabama is batting .340 for the season. The Tide blasted seven home runs last week and have totaled 54 for the season. The Crimson Tide have also outscored their opponents, 212-47. In the circle, Alabama has combined for a 1.44 ERA (up from 1.34 last week) in 199 innings.

Alexis Pupillo (.456/.519/.911) and Brooke Wells (.432/.539/.926) lead Alabama at the plate with 11 home runs apiece. Vic Moten's 1.31 ERA in 15 appearances, including 11 starts, narrowly leads Briski's 1.35 mark.
