Sky Sports are reporting that Chelsea are now planning to sign a new midfielder in the wake of the Enzo Fernandez rumours.

The Argentine has been out there consistently speaking about Real Madrid and living in Madrid. Couple that with all the noise and rumours linking him with a possible move away from Stamford Bridge this summer and you have a dramatic situation where it now seems very feasible that he leaves Chelsea in the summer.

As well as all of that, we are now hearing that Chelsea are planning to sign a new midfielder at the end of the season, which you can only assume is in the view to replacing Fernandez.

Sky Sports claim that Chelsea are planning to sign another midfielder this summer and Fernandez is not regarded as untouchable at Stamford Bridge.
However, Chelsea would only consider an offer of more than £100m for one of their key players.
So it sounds like they are now more than open to selling Fernandez for the right price, it’s just whether Real Madrid will pay that kind of money to sign him or not.

One bright spark in the remainder of this season would be the debut of young highly rated academy starlet Ryan Kavuma-McQueen, which the BBC think is “inevitable.”
