I had not seen any reports that he was sick, but the wording of that Tweet makes it sound like his family suspected it was coming.

Coach Mac has been the color analyst for Titans Radio since 2017. He was fantastic on the radio. He had a really good way of breaking down plays that made the listener feel like they were watching the game along with him.

McGinnis coaching in the NFL from 1986 to 2016. He was the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals from 2000-2003. He spent eight seasons as the linebackers coach for the Titans under Jeff Fisher.

Our sincerest condolonces go out to Coach Mac’s family. I had him on my podcast one time a few years back, and he couldn’t have been nicer. The Titans radio broadcast won’t be the same without him.
