It was a busy night for the light heavyweight division, with three of the five main card fights taking place at 205 pounds.

Carlos Ulberg knocked out Jiri Prochazka to become the new champion, while Paulo Costa arrived on the scene looking to earn a shot at ‘Black Jag’.

Reyes also picked up a win, but it didn’t get quite as much attention as some of the other results in Miami.

Dominick Reyes posts a message on social media after being denied a UFC 327 interview

Reyes, who many felt had done enough to beat Jon Jones back in 2020, went up against Johnny Walker at the Kaseya Center.

The fight didn’t go down well with fans. Joe Rogan didn’t hold back, calling it a ‘snoozer’ during the broadcast, and plenty of people seemed to agree.

Denied the usual post-fight interview spot next to Rogan, Reyes responded to criticism through a social media post after his win.

“Since I got ROBBED of my post fight speech, here is my official speech,” he wrote on Instagram.

“First and foremost I would like to thank my lord and savior Jesus Christ! I’d like to thank @johnnywalker for the technical battle. Thank you to my team! Thank you to the UFC for an amazing fight week!

“To the fans of Miami, I know you wanted blood but sometimes that’s not how it goes. I love you son. Daddy’s coming home!”

Pico was looking forward to speaking with Rogan after his first UFC win over Patricio Pitbull in the featured prelim, but did not get his wish granted by the promotion.
