Ravens met with Georgia TE Oscar Delp ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft

The Baltimore Ravens are hoping this is one of those instances where the 'rebuild' is more of a reload. Now and then, they have to reset a position group, and the tight end position suddenly falls into that category. This offseason changed the outlook. Isaiah Likely is gone, and Charlie Kolar followed him out the door. What was once a position of strength has quietly become one of the more uncertain areas on the roster. Yes, Mark Andrews is still in the building, but he’s entering the latter stages of his career, and even his presence doesn't erase the need for depth.

That’s where the NFL Draft comes in, and more specifically, where Oscar Delp enters the conversation. According to reports, Baltimore recently hosted Delp for a pre-draft visit, continuing a trend of heavy evaluation at the position.

It’s easy to see why. The Ravens have 11 picks at their disposal, and this year’s tight end class is deep enough to justify multiple swings if they choose to go that route. Delp is an interesting case study. His college production while with the Georgia Bulldogs won't jump off the page, but context matters. He spent much of his career sharing the field with elite talent, including Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington, in an offense that didn't need to funnel targets his way.
When the ball did find him, he flashed fluid movement, reliable hands, and the ability to create after the catch. He's also a willing blocker, something that matters in Baltimore's system.
That balance is what makes him appealing. He isn't just a receiving option. He's a complete tight end with room to grow, the kind of player who could carve out a role early while developing into something more. That's rare in today's NFL.
Maybe that's the bigger takeaway here. The Ravens can do more than replace production. They can rebuild depth and future-proof the position. Whether that means selecting Delp or doubling down with multiple picks, one thing feels certain. Baltimore isn't leaving this draft without addressing their needs at tight end.
