The Italian native put up 6.4 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.1 assists while shooting 40.4 percent from the floor during his freshman campaign. In the postseason, he averaged 7.8 points per game as the Blue Devils made a run to the Elite Eight.

At 6-foot-8, he will put on some much-needed weight this offseason that will move his game to another level, especially when it comes to protecting the rim inside. His rebounding presence will be crucial with the departure of Cameron Boozer, who averaged 10.2 rebounds per game for Jon Scheyer’s squad.

With his return, Duke will have four key players back from last year, when the Blue Devils won the ACC regular season and tournament titles.
