That's what the Buffalo Bills are hoping is true even into the NFL for Desmond Reid.
The Bills signed Reid in undrafted free agency, and he'll almost certainly be the smallest player in the building for as long as he's able to stick around.
Reid officially measures 5-foot-6 and 174 pounds. That's the same height as the famed short RB, Darren Sproles.

The Bills are looking beyond an injury-plagued 2025 to see what Reid can be.
In 2024 at Pitt, Reid ran for 966 yards and five touchdowns and caught 52 passes for 579 yards and four more TDs.
Before Pitt, Reid had played at Western Carolina.
He spent two seasons with the Catamounts and was the Southern Conference Freshman of the Year while at WCU.
The Bills have their standard four RBs still under contract heading into next season: James Cook, Ty Johnson, Ray Davis and Frank Gore Jr.
Reid likely can push for a spot on the practice squad to begin with.
The Bills could view his upside as a potential third-down back in the future, whenever Johnson might move on from Buffalo.
For now, he'll have to continue to prove the doubters wrong. He might be small, but it sure seems like he can play.
