It took them one step closer towards lifting the league title for a second season in a row, with only five games left to be played.
Planning underway for title parade
And, now, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona are already working internally to decide when to hold the open-top bus parade through the streets of the city to celebrate a possible league title.
Hansi Flick’s team could be crowned champions on Sunday night if Real Madrid fail to beat RCD Espanyol, provided the Catalans win the day before against Osasuna at El Sadar.
It would be the club’s 29th league title, the second in a row and the third in four years, more than enough reason for supporters to celebrate.

If Barcelona are confirmed as champions on Sunday, Monday, 4 May, would be the first available date for the parade, but it is not certain that this option will be chosen.
There is debate within the club over whether it would be better to wait until after El Clasico scheduled for Sunday, 10 May.
It has already been decided that Barça Femeni, who shared the parade with the men’s side in 2023 but not in 2025, would not join the celebrations led by Flick’s players.
Although they have already secured the Liga F title, the idea is to wait in case they also win the UEFA Women’s Champions League, with the final on 23 May in Oslo, although they must first overcome Bayern Munich Women this Sunday at the Spotify Camp Nou.
As for the route of the parade, both three years ago and in 2025, it began at the club’s stadium and ended at the Arc de Triomf, which is likely to be the case again this year.
