NIANELL CELEBRATES WEDDING ANNIVERSARY
On her social media platforms, Nianell celebrated her second wedding anniversary to husband Kevin Lievaart, who is also a bass guitarist in her band.
The 54-year-old posted: “And just like that, we’ve been Mr & Mrs Lievaart for 2 years💫🤗❤️ Best decision ever, and I celebrate our love for each other with all my heart and soul”.
She added, “I feel so blessed with you in my life, my angel. I love you always.❤️”
Nianell began dating Kevin in 2015, a year after her divorce from her first husband, Andrew Thompson, the father of her triplet daughters, was confirmed.
The mom-of-three claimed that her first marriage was devoid of a romantic spark, and that she saw her former spouse as more of a “friend”.
‘AGE IS IRRELEVANT’Nianell’s relationship – consisting of a 22-year age gap – has often come under fire from social media users.
However, she believes that Kevin is her “soulmate”.
She told Odyssey magazine of her partner: “He may be 22 years younger than me, but his wisdom is ancient. When you finally meet that person later in life, you’re not falling in love with a human; you’re falling in love with another soul.
“So, the age is irrelevant. I fell in love and am in love with a soul”
The couple aren’t just romantically involved; Kevin is a bass guitarist for his famous wife’s live performances. He is also a videographer and works on the set of her productions
