Addison Barger is known as having a strong arm, so the throw he made on Saturday for the Toronto Blue Jays wasn't a total surprise.

But really, Barger looked to be too deep in right field to have any chance. The Angels had a runner tagging up from third, and Barger had to get back on the baseball just to track it down.

By the time the ball hit Barger's glove, though, he had his momentum moving forward, and he uncorked one of the best throws of the season.

The data says he threw it 101.2 miles per hour.

The visual shows a laser, one-hop strike to home plate.

In time, runner out, double play of the highest quality.

While the broadcast camera didn't provide a great view of the throw itself, you still get the idea here:

This is going to be a tough one for Barger to ever top. It'll be a tough one for any outfielder in the league to do better than all year.

He has no business throwing anyone out from there.

But when you can get momentum moving the correct direction, and unleash a throw of better than 100 miles per hour? There's always a chance.

Barger showed that at least for him, it's always worth making the throw.
