What is the match fee of a player in IPL 2026?
Every player retained in the squad through the season receives his full auction salary regardless of how many games he actually played.
On top of that, each member of the playing XI, including the Impact Player, earns ₹7.5 lakh for every match they feature in.
A player who appears in all 14 league games picks up an additional ₹1.05 crore in match fees alone. For a team that reaches the final and plays 17 matches, that figure climbs to roughly ₹1.27 crore.
Put together, even a player bought at the minimum base price of ₹30 lakh can end up earning well over ₹1.35 crore across the full season.
