Aaron Donald’s Wife Responds to Comeback Rumors With 3-Word Message

One of the biggest storylines in the NFL over the last 24 hours following Myles Garrett’s trade from the Cleveland Browns to the Los Angeles Rams has centered around former All-Pro Aaron Donald.
Donald officially retired from the NFL in 2024, but now, at 35 years old, fans are already trying to lure him out of retirement to return to the Rams and join forces with Garrett on the defensive line.

Those rumors only intensified after ESPN’s Pat McAfee revealed that Donald texted him and did not completely rule out a return, saying he is “35 and has to see if that fire can light back up.”
Rams head coach Sean McVay was also asked Tuesday about the possibility of Donald returning and offered an intriguing response.
“If Aaron decides he wants to dust them off at the age of 35, I bet you he could still do it at a pretty high clip,” McVay said.

However, perhaps the most important reaction to all the speculation — maybe even more than Aaron’s own comments — came from his wife, Erica, who responded on social media to the growing calls for her husband to return.
“Y’all are hilarious,” she posted on X.

Donald played 10 seasons in the NFL and made the Pro Bowl in every single one of them. During that span, he won a Super Bowl, earned eight All-Pro selections, captured three Defensive Player of the Year awards, and cemented himself as a surefire first-ballot Hall of Famer.
