What Golf Course Was J.T. Poston Playing on Friday?

Once I flipped on ESPN+ this morning, it was pretty clear that it was going to be a struggle for the boys out at Muirfield Village today. The wind was a persistent pain in their sides, and what made it worse was the inconsistent direction. It swirled, bounced off trees, and seemed to change every time someone got over a shot.
The one guy it didn’t affect, however, was J.T. Poston.

After signing for a 2-under 70 on Thursday, Poston came out the gates firing on Day 2. Birdie at one, birdie at two, and another at No. 4 after stuffing a tee shot on the difficult par 3. Before making the turn, he took care of the two front-nine par 5s and made another impressive birdie at No. 8, a long par 3 with a pencil-thin green. All in all, he went out in 5-under 31.

On his way back to the clubhouse, he birdied Nos. 13 and 17 to complete his 7-under 65. When he signed his card, he was the solo-leader at 9 under—I have a hard time believing anyone in the afternoon wave will catch him given the blustery conditions.
When he sat down with Golf Channel after his round, Poston said that he hit his irons great on Thursday—he was second in Strokes Gained: Approach—but didn’t convert enough of his looks. His stellar iron play continued on Friday, but on this day, the putter woke up. He made over 134 feet worth of putts and was first in SG: Putting. That’ll do.
Everyone knows it's hard to follow up a low round with another one, especially at a golf course like Muirfield Village. And even though the odds of him being caught by the end of the day are low, he has plenty of big names behind him who no doubt will be looking to chase him down on Saturday.
The question is: can Poston continue to beat up Jack’s Place and hold off the chasers?
