The Washington Commanders wrapped up OTAs last week. Next week, the Commanders will be back in Ashburn for the mandatory minicamp, before getting an extended break ahead of training camp, which opens next month.

But before the Commanders open minicamp, quarterback Jayden Daniels returned home to the Los Angeles area on Friday to take in some World Cup action. The U.S. Men’s National Team began World Cup play on Friday at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, taking on Paraguay.

Daniels was on hand, watching from the press box, when popular streamer iShowSpeed approached Daniels: "Long time no see," he said, before the two shook hands. Also, Daniels wasn't the only starting NFL quarterback in the box. Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, along with New York Giants QB Jaxson Dart, were beside Daniels.

The USMNT got off to a great start, taking a 3-0 lead in the first half, before eventually winning 4-1.

Next up for the USMNT team is a matchup against Australia on Friday at Lumen Field in Seattle.
