Tyler Loop's approach to kicking can be summed up in one word: process. While fans often focus on outcomes, Loop focuses on preparation. That's why he hasn't spent the offseason reinventing himself after last year's missed kick.
Instead, he's doubled down on the routines and habits that helped him become an NFL kicker in the first place. When discussing how he evaluates difficult moments, Loop emphasized the position's objective nature.

"You either made the kick, fact, or you missed the kick, fact."
The emotional side must be separated from the technical evaluation.
"It has to be completely flushed away next kick on the emotional side of it."
At the same time, he believes every miss provides an opportunity to learn.
"You have to be able to look at it objectively."
Most importantly, Loop never lost confidence in the process itself.
"My process hasn't broken."
That confidence extends to future pressure situations as well.
"The mental process ... that's going to stay the same."
