Liverpool eyeing Koln’s Said El Mala if they miss out on Yan Diomande

Liverpool want to bring another attacker to the Anfield club after completing a deal for Victor Munoz, according to journalist and transfer insider Ben Jacobs. Liverpool manager Andoni Iraola wants the Reds to add a fast winger to their attack and Koln’s Said El Mala is one of their options should they miss out on RB Leipzig’s Yan Diomande. The Ivory Coast international is the Merseyside club’s top target, but competition from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain and his asking price could make them look elsewhere.

El Mala’s ‘burst of speed’ which ‘surprises many defenders’ is a skill Liverpool admire, and the 19-year-old German could be open to a Premier League move. Brighton & Hove Albion’s Yankuba Minteh, Lille’s Matias Fernandez-Pardo and PSG’s Bradley Barcola are also options for the Reds.

He is a brilliant dribbler and finisher, and El Mala could be keen to prove himself in the Premier League.
