On the chopping block and all, Mike Norvell and the Florida State Seminoles have begun heating up their 2027 recruiting class with just under a handful of commitments in the span of a week.
Since June 7th, the Noles have gained commitments from three four-star recruits and one three-star. The recent commitments are made up of safety Jernard Albright, the highest-ranked recruit in the class, wide receiver Sean Green, and running back Jayden Miles. All of whom are four-stars.
The most recent commitment on the run is three-star linebacker Olrick Johnson III, who committed on June 11th.

Prior to their improbable string of commitments, their 2027 class ranked in the mid-40s and nearly dropped out of the top-50. With those additions to the class, On3’s recruiting ranking now has them sitting as a much more respectable 35th-ranked class nationally and the eighth-ranked class in the ACC.
The Seminoles have now totaled 10 commitments in the 2027 cycle, with four of them considered blue-chip players. Their total class is made up of:
- 4-Star S: Jernard Albright
- 4-Star WR: Sean Green
- 4-Star RB: Jayden Miles
- 4-Star EDGE: Anthony Cavallaro
- 3-Star S: Jemari Foreman
- 3-Star ATH: Dayon Cooper
- 3-Star DL: Eric Vaulx Jr.
- 3-Star QB: Logan Flaherty
- 3-Star LB: Olrick Johnson III
- 3-Star TE: Connor Winn
