LSU's already picked up commitments from four transfer products, including three position players. Wachs would be the second outfielder to join LSU's transfer class after Notre Dame's Bino Watters committed last week. Per 64Analytics, Wachs is the No. 32-ranked player in the transfer portal.

LSU's 2027 roster is begining to take shape, though LSU could still use another proven outfielder. The Tigers are likely losing three experienced outfielders with Jake Brown, Derek Curiel, and Chris Stanfield set to turn pro.

Wachs is a career .331 hitter and would slide right into LSU's starting lineup. In 2026, Wachs slugged .574 with a .453 on-base rate. In two years with the Green Wave, he's played in 107 games and notched 122 hits.
