GREENVILLE, S.C. – The first team that Texas women's basketball will see at the SEC Tournament is also the last team the Longhorns faced in the regular season.
Texas (28-3) has drawn Alabama (23-9) as its opponent in the SEC Tournament quarterfinal. Friday's showdown at Bon Secours Wellness Arena will take place five days after UT closed out the regular season with a 72-65 win at Alabama.

As the No. 3 seed in the SEC's bracket, Texas received a double-bye and did not have to play during the first two days of the tournament. The 11th-seeded Crimson Tide, on the other hand, reached the quarterfinals with 65-48 and 76-64 victories over No. 14 Missouri and No. 6 Tennessee.
